Doctor Fantastique’s Show of Wonders magazine needs your help!

Doctor Fantastique’s Show of Wonders magazine is just $400 shy of their goal to produce offset-press copies of their January/February 2012 issue. If you’re a fan of Steampunk, have a look and support if you can, thanks!

This photo was from Wednesday, right before I caught the most exciting cold ever, heh. I finally got to cut and shape the trigger guard and that will be the last bit to go on before assembly and finishing. Tune in to morrow!

Finished the detailing for the most part and then cut out the insert CAREFULLY :) Its not glued in place yet, I still have to rough up the surface so it sticks properly. I think it looks good without being the that somewhat cheesy 90’s color of sprayed on metallic paint. Feel free to voice your opinions!

So my friend asked if I could make a NERF gun for her 5 year old’s birthday. That’s a tough thing, guessing the likes of a little kid. I hope I got it right, haha.

I know the colors are a little out of line for the theme, but it just looked too cool not to do :)

Here’s a lineup for the weekend and next week. One Rayven is already sanded and primered (I am not a patient man sometimes!) as are the stampedes. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with the bazooka, but I plan to lengthen the body with some PVC to make it a bit more realistic :) who doesn’t need a bazooka, really? The pistol in the shot is a booth day present that I’m still not sure about. It’s for a friend so whatever it ends up as, he better like it! Hehe.
