Just a photo showing the first detai painting on the slide. More to be added tonight! Time to get out the tiny brushes!
Doctor Fantastique’s Show of Wonders magazine is just $400 shy of their goal to produce offset-press copies of their January/February 2012 issue. If you’re a fan of Steampunk, have a look and support if you can, thanks!
Finished the detailing for the most part and then cut out the insert CAREFULLY Its not glued in place yet, I still have to rough up the surface so it sticks properly. I think it looks good without being the that somewhat cheesy 90’s color of sprayed on metallic paint. Feel free to voice your opinions!
Here’s a lineup for the weekend and next week. One Rayven is already sanded and primered (I am not a patient man sometimes!) as are the stampedes. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with the bazooka, but I plan to lengthen the body with some PVC to make it a bit more realistic who doesn’t need a bazooka, really? The pistol in the shot is a booth day present that I’m still not sure about. It’s for a friend so whatever it ends up as, he better like it! Hehe.
It’s almost ready for paint and looking slick! Florentine gold was used for the button, of anyone else attempts this kit!
